Last weekend Dr. Albert Lee and Dr. Thomas Bonfiglio attended the 2017 SPEAR Dental Education Summit. The SPEAR Education group hosts a gathering of dental professionals once a year bringing together some of the most experienced and innovative thinkers in the field of dentistry. SPEAR faculty members present lectures on the latest techniques and technologies in dentistry. Participants go home with insightful and challenging feedback on how to advance their dental practice.
Dr. Lee enjoyed attending all of the Spear Faculty Club Courses taking advantage of everything the seminar had to offer. Of his favorites were the lectures by Dr. Rebeca Bockow and Dr. Jeff Rouses, two former visitors of the Lee, Bonfiglio, Vesely & Associates learning center.
An integral aspect of attending the SPEAR Summit is meeting dentists nation and worldwide. Dr. Lee enjoyed meeting many like-minded dentists from all over the globe. Dr. Lee was able to collaborate with a Sweedish periodontist as well as a dentist from North Carolina who inquired about setting up their own learning center. The SPEAR Summit opens opportunities for dentists to share their successes and failures. SPEAR Summit enables the dentist to learn from each other’s experiences, providing valuable insight on global dentistry.
