Tooth Bonding

For this procedure, on of our dentists will prepare the tooth receiving treatment by removing a small amount of tooth enamel. Then a biocomposite material is shaped and sculpted onto the tooth. The biocomposite is molded to the desired shape and size and color-matched for a natural look. A special curing light is then used for the final cosmetic restoration. Bonding material is color-matched to teeth for a more natural and balanced look. Be sure to avoid tooth-staining beverages like coffee, tea, and soda for 48 hours after the procedure.

Porcelain Veneers

This treatment option covers the front and sides of teeth with stain and decay-resistant veneers. Porcelain veneers not only help treat crooked teeth, but can also treat misaligned and damaged teeth. The shape, color, and alignment of teeth can be customized with porcelain veneers. On of our dentists will prepare the tooth receiving the veneer by removing a small amount of the tooth structure. Doing this ensures that the veneer fits comfortably onto the tooth.

A dental impression of the prepared tooth will be used to create a custom veneer. When the final restoration is complete, the thin, shell-like porcelain veneer will be bonded to the tooth. Porcelain veneers resist staining, although it is still good to stay away from food and beverages that typically stain teeth, like sodas, teas, coffee, and red wine. You should brush and floss normally with veneers to maintain your new, brilliant smile.

Dental crowns act as caps that cover teeth. They not only correct crooked teeth, but provide protection from decay and staining.
