Dentist Office Annapolis MD

What to Expect

We take a proactive approach to preventative dental care – because a beautiful smile starts with healthy teeth and gums.

Your first visit will involve a new patient exam and consultation. Most patients will have a dental cleaning, followed by a visit with the dentist to discuss your dental and medical history as well as your dental concerns and goals. If you need cosmetic or restorative dental treatment, we’ll design a treatment plan that fits your needs and budget.

Our dental examinations typically include:

  • Periodontal screening for gum disease
  • Oral cancer screening
  • TMJ and bite analysis
  • Digital dental x-rays
  • Professional dental cleaning

New Dental Patient FAQs

What should I bring to my first dental appointment?
Please download, print and complete our new patient forms and bring them with you to your appointment. If you have dental insurance, please remember to bring your insurance card or information with you to your appointment.

Do you accept dental insurance?
Yes, we accept nearly all dental insurance plans. Our office participates with most PPO insurance plans. If we do not participate in your plan, we can still see you as an out-of-network provider and handle the insurance paperwork to help you maximize your benefits.

Do you see children?
Yes, we are a family dentist in Annapolis. The American Dental Association recommends that children see a dentist by the time their first tooth erupts. Bringing children to the dentist at a young age helps them feel more comfortable and relaxed. We generally begin providing routine care for children (every six months) at age 3.
