Mission to Guatemala with SPEAR

As a family dentist serving the Annapolis area, Dr. Albert Lee and his associates see a wide range of patients, addressing dental health needs and concerns ranging from preventive care to dental implants. But on a recent mission trip to Guatemala, Dr. Lee and his family were both humbled and privileged to serve those who can’t take dental care for granted, having little or no access to what many of us are able to take for granted.

As part of a Spear Institute Open Wide Mission Trip, Dr. Lee and the assembled team worked alongside dental students, volunteers and local staff at the “Clinicas Dentales“.

During the week, patients were given the gift of restored dental health, friends and lifelong memories were made and all who came left with a renewed sense of gratitude for the chance to help others.

Take a moment to enjoy the video from their trip- it is inspirational!
